Pastor Fernando Chiu is a local mission worker of CCM USA in Venezuela. He was born in Guangdong, China. At the age of 8, he followed his family to Caracas, Venezuela, and was baptized in 1992. Pastor Chiu received training in the Evangelical Seminary of Caracas. In 2016, he answered God’s call and closed his business to serve full-time. He assists and leads CCM’s short-term mission teams, participates in CCM’s mission ministry, makes regular visits, and promotes Chinese ministry and mission ministry to second-generation Chinese. He also pastors the Lord's Grace Church of Caracas. Pastor and Mrs. Chiu are fluent in Spanish and Cantonese, and understand Venezuelan and Chinese cultures. They have 3 children.
