Gregory & Maggie Har
Rev Gregory Har’s calling and motivation to participate in missions to Central and South America starts with several of his short-term missions. He personally met with people over there and learned their needs. As the Scripture has said, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” (Matt. 9:36-38) . Rev. Har’s heart goes out to reach the Chinese in Central and South America. This is his vision and passion. His passion for missions deepened in 2012. He shared his passion with the Elders of his church and continued to seek and pray for God’s guidance. In 2015, the director of Foreign Missions Department of CCM, visited his church and spoke to the Cantonese congregation about missions in Central and South America, especially about reaching out to Chinese. Rev. Har took the message as a “Macedonia Call” from God for his mission calling. By the grace of our Lord Jesus, he is willing to Go. In 2016, after coming back from a STM to Belize, he learned more about the mission strategy of CCM to Central and South America. He took this as a confirmation from God to mission. Praise the Lord when he shared his mission burden with the elders council of his church, he received support from them. September 2017, Rev. Har joined CCM as a part-time Supportive Mission Worker to Central and South America. Starting July 2019, he left the pastoring position and became a full-time missionary to Belize.
