Olive
Olive is CCM's local cross-cultural mission worker. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Olive immigrated with her husband to the U.S. and worked in the accounting field after college. They have one daughter. In 2015, Olive had to undergo longer-term maintenance chemo treatment and took a leave from work. During the treatment, God called her to receive biblical and theological training at a seminary. In 2017, while she studied short-term courses in Jerusalem, the Holy Spirit moved her to pray for the lost Jewish souls at Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall. Since then, she has been called to share the gospel with the Jewish people. In an August gathering that year, God again called her through Isaiah 6:8, so she quit her job and willingly stepped into full-time ministry. Olive began to learn outreach strategies from various Jewish mission organizations, such as The Friends of Israel and Chosen People Ministries.
Due to God's guidance, Olive would go to the Jewish community and attend their classes to make Jewish friends. In addition, she would deliver the message that Jesus is the Messiah to the Jewish community by establishing websites (e.g., SeeSababa.com), distributing gospel leaflets, and sending out small gifts. Her ministry mainly focuses on the Jewish diaspora in the U.S. Olive also enjoys sharing special topics with Chinese churches to convey the importance of Jewish evangelism.
