Alex Lau is a local mission worker of CCM USA in Peru. He was born and raised in Hong Kong, and immigrated to Venezuela with his parents at the age of 10. When he was 17, he came to the Lord and joined a church. For many years he served at the Iglesia Evangélica China La Cruz church and was a deacon there multiple times. Alex married Elisa in 2007, and they have a son and a daughter. They were actively involved in church, and led ministries for Chinese and Spanish-speaking youth and children. The family moved to Peru in early 2019 and settled in the city of Lima. They continued to serve God at the Iglesia Alianza Cristiana y Misionera church. Alex later left his job and went to seminary to receive training. He went into full-time ministry after graduation, mainly developing ministries for young people and nurturing a new generation of spiritual leaders.
